3.0 out of 5 stars Magic + the mundane
By Janelle on October 17, 2021
As a reader, I enjoyed taking a “trip” to Scotland and I admit I don’t know much about it and its history (shameful American here) but I enjoyed reading this book.

I love that this historical fiction had a magical/fantasy spin to it. Feldman does a great job of blending the mundane with the fantastical, without seeming like it was hard.

The ongoing struggle of feeling alone and trying to find where you fit in the world is something I think all of us can relate to on some level. This was a good escape from my everyday repetitive days, so thank you @HFVBT and @nadine.feldman.author for the gifted copy.
